Hi, my name is David and I am a Graphic Artist and co-business owner based in London, U.K. This site documents what I feel is my best work to date. I hope you like it!

I have to be honest with you…
I haven’t been drawing much in the past 5 years. Life changed a great deal in 2019/20 when Covid19 hit. Since then I’ve been pouring my energy and focus into a company my wife and I started, called Yoyo The Ricecorpse. Running that company has been a very big lifestyle change, my focus now is very much about making the most of that opportunity, with the goodwill and interest we are receiving. If you’d like to see more of what we do, you can check out our store, or visit our YouTube channel to watch our weekly vlogs.

Running this company has been a transformative experience and I’m very grateful for it. I look forward to a time when I can return to image-making, with the lessons I've learned from this experience.

Profile
When it comes to drawing, I mostly work with analogue mediums, combining of drawing techniques to produce highly refined works. As a picture maker, I enjoy honing in on those essential details that help create the greatest degree of impact on the viewer. Isolating an impression that resonates, and discovering ways to play around with emphasis is a lot fun. This has seen me move towards fragmented aesthetic themes over the past few years, with a playful selective interplay of realism and abstraction.

I graduated all the way back in 2007, and since that time have had the pleasure of working with a diverse array of clients in editorial, publishing, point of sale, advertising and fashion sectors. A select array of which are listed below...

Warner/Parlophone, Ralph Lauren, Christian Fischbacher, MadeBySix, Allianz Global Investors, BurdaYukom, Woolley Pau,
Dorling Kindersley, Gestalten and musician William Fitzsimmons.
